Animalia Law joins the Aquatic Animal Alliance

Animalia Law has joined the Aquatic Animal Alliance (AAA) to enhance welfare protections for aquatic animals in food production. Created in 2020 by Aquatic Life Institute, the AAA is a coalition of over 185 advocacy organisations across 75 countries, dedicated to improving the welfare of aquatic animals exploited by the global food system. The AAA works through industry engagement, policy advocacy, public education, and scientific research to promote and implement practices that protect and enhance the lives of aquatic animals. This collaboration embraces the collective power of experienced advocates and leaders in animal welfare, sustainability, conservation, food systems transformation and policy spaces to enact meaningful and impactful change.
