Oxford-GW Law Aquaculture Summit

Animalia Law Executive Director Bianka Atlas was a delegate at the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics and George Washington Law’s inaugural Aquaculture Summit in March 2026 at the George Washington University Law School, USA. This event brought together a small group of interdisciplinary aquaculture experts to focus strategically on addressing the problems of aquaculture. The focus of the inaugural summit was the ethical, welfare, and legal implications of emerging industrial octopus farming.
